At Everhart Missionary Baptist Church, our desire is to glorify God, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and serve our community with love and compassion. We are a family of believers committed to worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and growing together in faith.
Whether you have attended church your entire life or are searching for answers and a place to belong, you are welcome here. Our church strives to create an environment where people of all ages can experience God's grace, build meaningful relationships, and grow in their walk with Christ.
Our Story
Everhart Missionary Baptist Church has faithfully served the Knoxville community for generations. Through changing times and seasons, God has continued to bless our church with opportunities to share His Word, disciple believers, and minister to those in need.
What began as a local congregation dedicated to biblical truth has grown into a church family committed to worshiping Christ, serving others, and reaching future generations with the Gospel. While much has changed over the years, our foundation remains the same—Jesus Christ and His Word.
Today, we continue that mission by providing a place where individuals and families can gather to worship, learn, serve, and experience the love of God together.
Our Mission
To glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ, teaching the Word of God, strengthening believers in their faith, and sharing the Gospel with our community and the world.
We seek to fulfill Christ’s command to love God, love others, and faithfully serve wherever He leads.

Our Beliefs
We believe:
- The Bible is the inspired, infallible Word of God.
- There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again.
- Salvation is by grace through faith in Jesus Christ alone.
- Baptism is an outward expression of a believer’s faith.
- The Church exists to worship God, make disciples, and share the Gospel.
- Jesus Christ will return again in glory and power.
Our teaching, ministries, and mission are centered on these biblical truths.

Pastor Scott Allen has a heart for preaching God’s Word, shepherding God’s people, and helping individuals grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Through biblical teaching, compassionate leadership, and a commitment to serving others, Pastor Allen seeks to lead Everhart Missionary Baptist Church in fulfilling its mission to reach people with the hope of the Gospel.
